| I have experience conducting workshops from kindergarten to university level. I can adjust the content and length of time for the students. My workshops begin with a short introduction and a brief history of my book illustration. I then give a description of the process I use to create an illustration from a piece of text. I show examples of each step from first sketch to finished artwork. I also show examples of proofs and finished books. For the second part of my workshop I do a painting demonstration while answering questions from students. I take the demonstration artwork home to be finished then have it framed before delivering it back to the school. The dolphin is a sample from a recent workshop.
